Welcome VMG students!

1.  Wilma Rudolph, the 20th out of 20 children, was born prematurely. She also had lung disease and scarlet fever. As a result, she lost the use of her left leg at the age of four. When she was 9 years old, she began to wear metal leg braces. At the age of 13, Wilma was finally able to walk. The doctors said it was a miracle. That year, she decided to pursue a career in athletics, but she always lost. Everyone advised her to change her dream, but she refused and was determined to run. One day, with her persistence, she reached her goal. The little girl, who was told she would never be able to walk again, won three Olympic gold medals.

Human capability is unlimited. Do not ever say no to your own ability. Just turn the impossibility into possibility. Strength, determination and dignity are priceless and should bring pride. They are meaningful gifts for loved ones and are the most valuable assets of our country.

2.  Charles Berlits was a famous linguist. He was the grandson of McSimilian Berlits, who founded the first language school in the U.S.  In 1878, he applied the Direct Method, which led to modern language learning in soundproof rooms today. He was the only man to greet the delegates at the United Nations Conference in 25 languages. For him, learning any foreign language was possible as long as he used that language at any opportunity and knew how to make full use of it. Mastering languages in a short time is not only for a genius.

You could be a great student of languages like Charles Berlits. However, you do not have to master 25 languages like him. Proficiency in English can bring you glory in globalized society nowadays.

The two stories above are lessons for us to consider desire, hard work and honor.

We, Vietnam America Education Group, will help you create a solid foundation and a bright path not only in learning English but also in acquiring other life skills.
